Job Description
DescriptionAre you interested in tackling the challenges in defending our Nation against air, ballistic, and hypersonic missile threats?
Do you want to learn and apply new skills to model and analyze the behavior of complex systems?
If so, we’d love to have you join our team! We are seeking an intern to help us create models, run simulations, analyze test data, and ultimately improve the capabilities of our Nation's developmental and deployed defensive systems. You will be joining a hardworking team of engineers and scientists who perform innovative research, modeling, analysis, testing, and prototype development to ensure resiliency of defensive command and control systems. We are committed to finding the best technical solutions for these command and control challenges, and strive to help our sponsors rapidly field resilent defensive capabilities.
As a member of our team...
- You will work as part of a team to grow our system analytics either through model and simulation development of a defensive system or performance data analysis of a defensive system.
- You will learn about the warfighting mission and the domains where our team has impact, and you will gain technical experience as a system modeler and/or system analyst.
Qualifications
You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...
- Are pursuing a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or PhD in engineering, data science, computer science, physics, math, or a related field with a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Have a passion for developing technology and/or conducting system analytics.
- Are able to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date, and can ultimately obtain a Secret level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.

- Have acadamic or practical experience modeling and/or analyzing complex system behaviors.
