Job Responsibilities
The Business Department is seeking an Accounting Instructor position to begin Spring 2025. The faculty member reports directly to the Department Head. Accounting instructor position to begin Spring 25 the 2024-2025 academic year. The primary responsibilities of the faculty member are to teach courses by providing systematically planned and delivered instructions, design and develop curriculum, advise and recruit students, participate in activities, and perform other duties as assigned. Minimum and Additional Requirements
This position requires a master’s degree in accounting or a master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in accounting.
Preferred Qualifications
Work experience in accounting, teaching experience, and CPA licensure are preferred. Previous experience in teaching, teamwork, leadership skills, goal setting, workplace personal communication, and online instruction or web experience is required. The candidate must be able to teach varying schedules at various locations, utilizing technology in instruction and various teaching methods. Proficiency in a learning management system such as D2L is also preferred. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential. The candidate must be able to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in information technology.

Faculty position's salary is commensurate with education and experience.
