Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Automation Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure our Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O implementation meets the required standards and functions correctly.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  • Analyze Requirements: Understand and analyze business and technical requirements to create test scenarios and test cases.
  • Develop Automation Scripts: Design, develop, and implement automation scripts using tools like TheTestMart, Executive Automats, Leapwork, or other relevant technologies.
  • Execute Tests: Run automated tests, analyze results, and report defects.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with developers, QA analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure compatibility and functionality of the system.
  • Maintain Documentation: Create and maintain logs to document testing phases and defects.
  • Post-Release Testing: Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing to ensure the system operates as expected.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in automation testing to continuously improve testing processes.
  • Assist team lead with managing team responsibilities when leadership deems necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or 5+ years of related experience.
  • Proven experience in automation testing particularly in Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Excellent understanding of D365 F&O modules and integration points.
  • Proficient in test management tools.
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC), and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with TheTestMart, Leapwork, or Executive Automats a plus.
  • Experience with LoadRunner or other relevant load testing technologies a plus.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps.
  • Certification in Dynamics 365 or related technologies.
