About the Role
We're looking for a passionate Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to groundbreaking projects. In this role, you'll design, develop, and test cutting-edge hardware systems that push the boundaries of what's possible. You'll work closely with talented engineers across disciplines to bring innovative solutions to life.

What You'll Do

  • Design, prototype, and test advanced mechanical systems and components.
  • Analyze and resolve technical challenges to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Conduct modeling, tolerance analysis, and equipment evaluations.
  • Specify materials, create design specifications, and document processes.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contribute to quality assurance standards.
  • Stay current on emerging mechanical engineering techniques and technologies.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
  • 2+ years of experience in hardware design and development (Master's degree preferred).
  • Must be a US citizen, eligible for DoD security clearance.
  • CAD: Proficient in Computer-Aided Design software
  • GD&T: Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
  • DFM: Experience in Design for Manufacturability
  • Thermal Management: Proven expertise in thermal management solutions
  • FEA/CFD: Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics
  • Effective communication and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Cubic Pay Range:

$95,000 - $118,969 + benefits.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
