Adjunct Professors in the Humanities Department provide instruction in courses that they are qualified for (Possible disciplines include Art, French, History, Music, Philosophy, Religion, Spanish, Speech, or Theatre, depending on the applicant's qualifications).

Candidates may be asked to teach classes at multiple campuses and off-campus sites, including high schools, or in online formats. Duties include conducting appropriate learning activities, maintaining effective instruction management, participating in all required trainings, meetings, progress reports, and Student Learning Outcomes assessments.

Minimum and Additional Requirements
Master of Arts in discipline (ART, FRE, HIS, MUS, PHI, REL, SPA, SPC, or THE); or Master of Arts plus 18 hours in a needed field.
Preferred Qualifications
Past experience in teaching introductory-level college courses is preferred.
